Oh he's been uploading himself, just using photobucket. I just taught him how much easier it is to use the CA photo gallery!

Hey thanks Bob...you like nice work, and you know your business, so much appreciated
Well, I sorta did it. I listened on the phone to our Public Relations Director, then I clicked the mouse on the two different sides and all of that
Lew thank you sir...you're a good guy

Scott, really, I know you'd like to dunk the boat sooner than is reality...just kinda the way it is in the boat building business...
Kinda funny, every builder knows EXACTLY when the Miami show is, year after year. Yet each year, people are working 'til 10 at night to get a Miami boat done...don't ask me why...

Kinda like Santa and the elves.
You know....absolutely, I'm ready to splash. Rick said this morning it has been so long, he had forgotten how everything went together. He's right, and it ain't fun hearing it. Actually, it sucks.
Will be two years in September. And plenty of good money. The former excitement is pretty much gone.
My wife is asking, friends asking....when....when...no hard answer.
Saving grace is....we're getting a best-quality job. 75 years from now...with the right care....she'll be on her third set of hydrogen motors

Up to you bud! Either bite the bullet with the outfit you have working on her, and know that you MIGHT be lucky to get her by summer's end, or pay them what you owe, snag the boat, and take her to someone that will finish the job when you want it. That simple...

I'd be bugging the hell out of them! Like you told me you are.
On a side note gran, when you have pics in the gallery anyone can copy them and use them to illustrate a point.
Boo Boo!
click on the pic and it goes to your gallery.

Lewis, don't really think bugging them is gonna get it done...not their priority right now...

Yeah but Bob when they take another project boat and finish it in a month after they were already working on mine, I myself would have pulled it right then.
I know they are good at what they are doing as evidenced by the work shown in the pics, but Miss Delmarva needs to become their priority from now till finished.

i dont care what you all say, that boat is the sweetest looking rebuild we/I've seen yet. No corners cut on this girl. I know it might be a long time coming, but personally (and im sure Scott would agree) I'd rather it be done right then done quick. She's gonna be solid, and last another 40+ years.
All I can say is that I call first dibs if its ever for sale.

Scott...thank you.
What a pleasure to have met you and your family
Lew is right. Another rebuild job came after mine. My total synthetic rebuild...an unknown.
Because they are famous for quality work, I chose them.
This is the net. My rebuilder can read this now, or in the future. Am I disappointed regarding timely delivery? Who wouldn't be.
Am I disappointed with the work? Guys, not fluffing....haven't seen better. Here, down there, or anywhere.
And to me, that's the bottom line. After their Sea-Ox rebuild, two orders came in for new boats. Cool with that. Make a nickle on the plywood stuff.
Good news...if we want to go boating/fishing...their rental fleet is a phone call away. Ten minutes from the house, anytime...free.
Skoot is right. When this boat is finished....with proper care.. expect it to last a long time. Like eighty years. And the way the tank went in...the tank could go eighty years as well. Impossible to hold water, except maybe damp on two inches per corner.
There have been many threads here regarding the "Pascoe Method" of aluminum tank install. The preceding pics, to my knowledge, are the first to document with photos his recommended install...but with a few improvements. Fiberglass girders crosswise above, versus stainless or aluminum straps, chocks, tank rubber, etc. Eliminating galvanic crosstalk/chemical leeching, etc.
Hollow fiberglass girders and 5200 are inert. It was a bunch of fun doing the homework on this project. Which may be why I'm in no hurry for it to end. Same as Christmas morning. Late that afternoon...you wish it were Christmas Eve again
