Man!

Your poetry is great.  We need more prose here at the clubhouse.

Our former poet was T race. He was good too

So we'll just go for a nice long cruise....besides, the idea of fishblood is gonna take some getting used to
So do tell Scotty, how was the Carolina splash?

Nando....THANKS for asking :thumright:

Well...after a long and tumultuous journey....Miss D is tonight just back from the fiberglass shop... and in the driveway.  She has her holes filled, the deck thoroughly scrubbed with acetone, all stains removed. Light green acrylic windshield installed. Final wax on the nonskid.

Went to the gas station...and filled her up. No probs on the fill, which was great. Went quick. She's holding 80+ gallons of 93 octane non-eth.

Finally....forecast calls for weekend beauty...high 82, clear, low humidity. So....

Carolina Splash tomorrow afternoon....Wooo-Hoooo

Thanks!!

Come on down!

I'm way north of Wrightsville Beach, thank the good Lord. I'm 100 yards from Scott's Hill Marina.

Nando, yes she is. She saw her come home today....and guess what? She's excited

Not only that...but she's volunteered to buff the Woody Wax off the nonskid tomorrow morning. Gotta like that :thumright:

AND..."That Damn Aquanet" is no longer a frequently used phrase.

Life is good!

Thanks Nando :thumright:

Put a Like up on FB for The Sailfish at Scotts Hill Marina -- looks like a cool place. Change of plans too we may end up in Topsail. That is the only beach Ive never been to in NC. Well I should say Island I've not been to. Will give you a call to see where your at if time doesn't get away from us. Right now we're just looking for accomedations to get away from Raleigh and maybe catch a fish -- I don't even care what right now -- I'm surf fishing for sharks - who cares :-) I just want to move down there yesterday!!!

I actually didn't know you could be that far north and still be considered Wilmington, Cool!! Learn stuff everyday! :-)

Just looked at Pics of Scotts Hill Marina --- I launched there. Remember that time I told you about, the Wrightsville Police wouldn't give me a hand after I asked them 100 questions about where to park if I launched at the Public ramp. If I could pay to park in their large grassy area, where they were all parked. And they said no. I asked if I could park at a meter, they said if I could find two together, and to make sure and feed both meters, but i wouldn't have enough time to get out to sea for long.. One officer finally stepped up and told me to head down there to Scotts Hill Marina and Launch and I wouldn't have an issue. He said we have a  major problem here with parking at Wrightvillle, it's becoming a real issue..

I digress, Wow, yes I know this Scotts Hill Marina Now. Nice little boat cruise down to Masonboro Inlet from there. We did some fishing on the way in and out of  what I figure was the intercostal to and from Wrightsville to there. Did catch a 17" flounder that day and a few trout. It was the day I realized flounder shrink a lot on ice. What was legal on catch was not when we reached the ramp.   Oh and we landed a triple tail, my buddy who use to guide out of Bradenton said he didn't even know you could catch triple tail in NC. I just shrugged my shoulders!!

Hope to see you and the Miss Delmarva soon. I need my Girlfriend to catch the bug fast :-) You seriousally should take her for a cruise, she'll come back sold. I told her there is no freedom to me like having a boat. It opens up a whole new world.

Absolutely Beautiful Boat!!! There really are not words to express how impressed I am with everything that was done by yourself, and Sea Mark boats!! Work of Art and a piece of marine history restored!! Wish they could all be restored -- I'm funny like that.

I rescue old radios (1930,40 , 50s electronics) when I see them laying around not being taken care of too, well I used to, then I ran out of room   . Like everything, they just don't make em like they used to

Hope to see it in person soon!!

Hey crazy Question, Shipoke is listed up top on this website, why isn't Sea Mark up top too? I don't care, just curious does Shipoke take on a lot of these classic Aquasport restorations, became like the go to guys?

Thanks for all your help so far Scott..

Hey, thank you!

Shipoke is a sponsor of our site, they build a really nice line of flat's boats and also do rebuilds on many types of boats.

Seamark is a manufacturer up here. They also do rebuilds, but its not something they pursue. They kinda do it between boat orders, as fill-in work. So the process is not so fast
