You probably don't have a choice, given the journey, but is "Miss DelMarVa"  going to be the "documented" name?

It won't be on the side, but yep, that's probably what we'll call her.

There are for sure cooler names, but given the way everything shook out in finding her, guess that name will kinda bring happy closure to the adventure

I don't think so. The best names have a great story behind them. Your's qualifies. Just image yourself, a cold beverage and a drumstick in your hands, re-living the story with your current and future admirers.

Guys, a bit of a slowdown....the company has taken orders for two new boats. They were upfront and honest and said they needed to put Miss D on hold for a couple weeks to get started on the hulls.

Although this isn't good news,I understand completely. Everybody has to make a living. New boats are their main biz, and they can build a new boat in their sleep.

That said...while the hulls are curing, they've made some progress:

Hey thanks Bruce....that gloss has got me excited

I have casting deck hatch molds for anyone that needs original (new) 22-2 hatches.

Also...Lewis has expressed interest in the floor mold, would fit his ride perfectly.

Lookin' good Scott!!

It's good to hear about the new boat orders. We've lost a lot of small builders in the past few years. I hope they get more.
