Scott yes it is. Pretty good shape too. The seller replaced bearings/races, plus four new trailer tires.

Galvanized is not yet showing rust. Figure the trailer is worth about what was paid for the whole enchilada.

Skoot, you brought to the board a cupcake (Miss Marco).  And it WAS a cupcake. I could have flown down there (1K for the weekend)  and approved the sale.

Paid the owner after negotiation, made arrangement for transfer.

I fly back home happy...In the meantime, Junior drops her, cracks her....the old man pleads old.... nevertheless, still loaded for delivery by the thieves...Get her up here, refuse the sale....he pleads forgetful...same difference, we're ripped. We all here played by the golden rule, entrusted our fellow man. 'Nuff said.

Bottom line, you did a GOOD  job by your buddies, bringing Miss Marco to the table. Forget the money....I could care less about the money. You did your best to deliver something akin to the "Time Capsule" to your friends. Thanks bro.

And thanks to this experience, am now an addicted Aquasport afficionado. That's a cool thing. So Skoot, bottom line.... thank you sir!

John, thanks for the post and great pics. Glad you're in town this week.

She's pretty much a shell. The chipboard at the transom is temporary support.

Gunnel cap is in upside-down position. Sit on top livewell imported from Fla. Last pic is original '75 flip-back seat salvaged from Miss Marco.

Thanks again Cap'n John  :thumright:

Scott
I am actually insulted that you never even mentioned this to me when we spoke just a few days ago on the phone. It looks like a good start to a great boat.

Yep, its embarrassing. Here's the problem. The pics won't load here at work, the camera software is incompatible with my twelve year old 'puter.

But...I can e-mail pics from the home PC. As long as my wife doesn't catch me. She never goes anywhere either. Maybe one morning when she is in the shower?

Scratch the cooler seat from the pictures; wait till you guys see that resurrected after my rebuild in a year or so. Thats going to be incorporated under the leaning post with a wrap around bolster and headrest for two, split top, and 4" thick seating for trolling. Thats the Miss Marco legacy that will ride again.

Meow meow, meow meow.

On another note, don't you think it's rather lame to "blame" the Mrs. for your unwillingness to upgrade that abacus you're still using in the shop?

You can get a smoker PC from New Egg or Tiger Direct for like $350 - so there is no excuse.  If all you do is email and web browse those PCs are enough, hell even if you do some mild graphics or gaming they're fine - dual or quad core i5 processors.
