It was Craig, an old favorite!  Had to fix some for Maggie tonight after the boys left!

Scott, been looking around at 740s prices...seems someone, or the whole electronics industry got wise.  Cheapest I'm seeing them is around $1100, no ducer.  May want to re-think those Raymaine units...

Another BTW...steering cylinder?  Don't see one...

Needs a Teleflex HC5345...around $450...

All right, bear with me here fellas, a little lengthy...

First, the hullsides, which are virtually ripple free, the gelcoat shine incredible!

The gunwales, the same shine, if not better!

What's amazing is the underside of the aft compartment lids and the bilge access hatch.  Either done with 2 piece molds or using the RTM method of building parts.  In short, ALMOST as good a finish as the hullsides and gunwales!

Love this touch.  Acorn nut's on the studs of the stern eyes...

That takes time to do that install, trust me.  Also, on the bolts that secure the frame of the swing-back seat at the helm...

The swing back seat itself...

Perfectly flared cockpit scupper tubes...

The bilge hatch...gorgeous!!

The bilge itself...

Forward storage...

The inside of the starboard transom box, painted in what I call "Livewell Blue"...

In short, Scott's 22-2 is as good if not better than ANY small boat out there, be it Albury Bros., YF, Southport, even his beloved Onslow Bay. And those boats cost SERIOUS $$$!!!  He told me what he has in it dollars wise, and let me tell you, it's nothing compared to those high-dollar status symbols those guys out there buy!  It is truly one beautiful boat!!  Congrats Scotty, my rigging won't let you down.  I'm going to do Scott's boat using all split-loom and Adel clamps, so there will be virtually no wire showing, except as necessary.  Won't be getting to her seriously for a bit...but I WILL be playing here and there...

Anybody want pics of anything else, let me know...

Absolutely stunning!! Keep in mind everybody, that this work was done by a company that specializes in building rugged, low-cost, low-maintenance vessels that are geared toward commercial and rental uses. While their boats are utilitarian, Miss DelMarVa truly showcases high level craftsmanship. Miss DelMarVa should be their new covergirl.

Here you go bud...

CJ, thanks for the links, may be able to find a cylinder around here, "lightly used" for cheap.  Haven't checked Tampa Bay CL yet...

Scotty knows the boys at Onslow bay, be nice if he could buy through them.  At PL, we were paying $190 for an HC5345.  My cost was right at $215...    :thumleft:
