went out fishing this weekend and the reds are hitting hard and fast. grand isle is getting better and better evryday. looking forward to the gathering in june. right now we have 4 people lined up for the gathering and one more in the possiblity of coming. so if you are thinking about coming let me know and i can start setting up some accomodations and boat slips.

going out to grand isle this weekend to check out the fishing,weather,and see what going on wit the oil.
got three spots filled on the boat. fuel prices have not got bad here yet so filling her up to the brim.
still trying to get some confirms on the gathering. dont be scared it will be a blast.

fuel was 3.69 at the dock and holding pretty steady. reds are hitting hard and the specks are plentiful. it was a very nice weekend to be on the water. boat is running very good.

im hoping that this is going to be a gathering and not just a fishing trip.

Thank you, for your concern and prayers! I've been getting good reports, from friends catching too many bull reds to count! The last time I was down, we brought home 24 specks the size, of my forearm (elbows to fingertips)---an okay day huh brah? Hopefully we'll have some good weather and tides. FYI Still in Ohio, trying to put together a Lake Erie trip before I come home. been here 2 weeks sunshine 1 day, rain everyday....I'm really starting to get the reds..

ok guys looks like the gathering held this weekend went great. the guys seem to have had a good time.
im looking for those guys who want to come down and pass a good time with a few southern boys, eat some good seafood, and do some great fishing. not to mention meet some friends you have been talking to on here face to face.

we might even have a few beers along the way.
