Around 1100.  And don't believe all the naysay about LUs.  Why come out with a 550+ motor if the LUs can't put the power to the water?  Mercs in this big time, just skunk work type business, if you know what I mean...

Looks like an LS3 with a modified Toronado-type gearbox/chaindrive under the block.  Not a very space-efficient or cost-efficient setup, but it avoids use of a dry sump, full pressure lubrication system that would be required if you tried to run that block in a vertical configuration.  The LS-3 has an alloy block that would help with weight, but that power transfer setup can't be lightweight...
