transom rebuild

Was wondering about how much it would cost to have my transom removed and built up with a livewell in it, and possibly a transom engine bracket added... any ideas?

What boat?  I only ask because I would be very hesitant to put a baitwell in the back of a flatback...

I assume you are looking to have someone do it?  Talk to Tommy at Hammerhead livewells, he would be able to give you some good feedback.  On a 240 you should be fine with a livewell in the rear.

Do you have any pics of her?I have a 76 side console w/IO.It's been sitting on a trailer for 3 yrs.I often wondered about putting a bracket on and was wondering about weight displacement being further back.

I have three pics on the thread 1975 240 side xonsole a couple threads down.... Pictues are down the page some... It comes stock w a centet transom livewll but id like it to go from 25 gal to 40 and an oval w proper intake ( the have it plumbed off the back)
