Thanks for the link Lewis    Thanks to all for the kind words :thumright:

Capt. Bob, it has just occured to me that you have not seen your teak in action yet.  In the next couple of days I will post up some pictures for you to feast upon    One thing is for sure, that was a great present you had for me :thumright:   I would most likely still be looking for teak

It's own to the second of many winter upgrades.  Towing the boat in the morning over to a sign shop in Goldsboro, NC.  I have dealt with this company for years and they do great work.  Going to have all the original decals and stripes removed and new ones installed.  Going back with the same exact stripes from the factory.  Should look like it did when it came off the floor in 1986

I was planning to remove all the old decals myself, but the older I get I find it easier to just write a check and let someone else hassle with it :thumright:   Should have it back by end of next week.  Will post some pictures then.  Here are 2 shots of what the 1986 decals look like now.  They have seen their better days :!:

Boat has been completely re-striped from bow to stern.  The only color modification was changing the bottom stripe to a royal blue that matches canvas on t-top.  In the second picture, the last 2 on the 222 is off a little because that is how the factory put it on.  Told him to put it back in the same place to avoid a bad ghost shadow.  Looks like a different boat.

That's you JD :thumright:

Funny,
While I haven't installed them yet, I have the stripes for the hull and gunnels to replace the gray pinstripes with a blue that will match the Bimini, the new name and the Aquasport decals that I replaced the heavily damaged, factory silver ones with.

Small ocean.

PS..... Did that model come with any teak?

Capt. Bob this model did come with teak.  Thanks to you :thumright:

Anchor door (needs another dose of teakguard)

Side tackle box.  Glad I choose not to go with tackle box.  This gives me another way to access under the console

Looks good JD. :thumright:

You know, that factory tackle box is still sitting in my utility shed. It will fit like a glove.

If you can just hold on to that tackle box for me    I am leaning on getting it from you.  Need to get some mess cleared up under the console.  Also, need to move my batteries under the console as well    I know, should have done that but the batteries are so easy to get to in the battery boxes.  I will most likely take it off your hands shortly :thumright:

The boat looks great...i was wondering how the durabak was holding up after a couple months? I really want to do a grey nonskid on my classic seacraft but was worried about if it gets too hot, and if it holds up well...id love to hear your experience
