That is one seksy boat JD! You have to be proud as a new daddy. Seeing how your boat turned out gives guys like me that are new to Aquasports even more reason to bear down and make 'em purdy again!By the way, I saw on an earlier page where you were curious about the size of the tank. If you took some dimensions, I can help you out with that. The formula is cu. ft. X 7.48052= gallons. In your case (with the v-shaped tank), you get the width for your calculation by adding the width at the top and the width at the bottom, then divide by 2 for your average width. (I don't mean to insult you if you already knew that, but some people don't.)Anyway.... Thanks for the pics. She's a beauty! Brent
The boat looks great...i was wondering how the durabak was holding up after a couple months? I really want to do a grey nonskid on my classic seacraft but was worried about if it gets too hot, and if it holds up well...id love to hear your experience
So, we will have to make the rear piece and weld it to the bracket. I am not worried about this for strength, just looks.pretty sure with the lack of rot in the transom that it will be extremely solid once the bracket is in place and bolted on.we will take lots of pictures for posting!
Lookin' great John! Can't wait to see it in person this fall!
