Well, we didn't get the hooters girls as promised in North Carolina either. But we had a great time!

im from a town about 20 miles up the road from grand isle. land of bull reds and 9lb specks. we just happen to have some of the best snapper, tuna, tarpon, amber jack, black drum and so many more. a 5 min ride from the coast and you are sitting in heaven or stay in shore and fish the best marsh and bay fishing (as far as im concerned) in the world. grand isle better known as seven miles of sand and sin i beleive would be great. by the way its an hour drive to bourbon from there same as venice. maybe we should do it around taron rodeo and we can all enter the fishing rodeo.

Just came across this post. We are in Midland Texas but frequent the areas around Rockport and Port Aransas. Would be nice to get together with a few other AQ drivers. We will be down there again in June/July, if anyone is around that area.
