Let me know what your top speed emds up being, and what your cruising speed is, also whats your prop specs?
I have a fresh rebuilt 225 evenrude ocean runner, my prop reads 14.25-17p and it will hatdley plain, my tach wasnt working so i took the boat back to the shop to get the tach going. It soumded like about 3k rpm at WOT 17 mph
