You both are absolutely right.

When I look back on all of those months I waited....and waited...and was promised and promised...and then complete silence, wouldn't even take my calls....

And there is no question in my mind that would have NEVER gotten ANYTHING if it hadn't been for us going there bro. Thank you again for all of your help.

Gonna chew on this some more...that backrest sure would be a plus.

Fellow Classic Aquasport Members, esteemed Moderator, Fearless Leader, and other moviegoers:

Spoke several times by phone yesterday with Mr. Wolchok. We have reached agreement on an amicable settlement.

I will call this morning a trusted third party to confirm compensation, and will post back.

Thank you all very much :thumright:

Thanks!

Mr. Wolchok has apologized, I have been compensated, and am fully and completely satisfied.

From the very first post there was no finger-pointing, mud-slinging, or slander in any way.

He said yesterday that the business end of things he did not consider himself great at. He liked the production side...from what we saw in his shop, they did good business, and produced good work.

Mr. Wolchok, thank you for making this right. The best to you in the future.

Per my pledge to you, this thread will be deleted.

Mod Edit: 16 December 2011

While fortunately our member didn't loose any money in this failed transaction, I include it here as an example of how someone can do their homework and still have bad results. Illustrates the worst in human interaction.

Went and looked this one today, only a few minutes from the house.  Seems like a pretty solid boat, the 95' motor has a 98' powerhead on it with very low hours according the owner.  He hasn't used very much, starboard fwd quarter has a damaged area on the cap where a dock apparently applied the rule of "a stationary object tends to stay stationary unless acted upon by a larger force" Nice enclosure, bottom paint, but not real heavy, would need to come off or be re-applied for appearance.  Did not hear it run, the owner was not there, I just went with his permission to look the boat over.  Nice trailer.  Just thought I'd put it on here in case anyone may be looking?

Why, yes it does   Actually since he is selling the boat, I have asked him if he would like to swap with some $$ for mine.  It would save me some work of converting mine, however, not sure of how, when or where his came from, it does not have the fixed center section, but the inside "cut edges" do have a lip glassed in for re-inforcement similar to the three piece style?? and the hinges are recessed in cut out areas (no non-skid) also like the 3 piece design.  I wonder if this was a transitional design.?  Bob??? Ever seen anything like that OEM?

What you are seeing below was OEM for 95.
Is that a 2 piece lid?
Is it hinged?

Catalog shot.

94 catalog looks like a one piece lid (hard to tell).
Scott is yours 1 piece?

Marc, Bob,
I remember all 3, the i piece was effin ridiculous to handle, a 4 foot long, 2 foot wide cored hunk of glass, very ungainly.  Then we went to the 2-piece hinged, which was just fine by me.  Removable for easy cleaning of the fishbox.  Then we went to the 3-piece fixed, which actually I think was copied from Pursuit...

Marc,
Really can't say I remember.  16 years and a few boats later, my brain is a little foggy...
