Where to start,
Used Maguires 3 step refinishing and it really made a difference in the old gel coat.
ran all new wiring, what a mess and talk about excessive.
installed new racor fuel filter
removed and refinished all teak
replace deck hatch over fuel gauge, clear works so much better than yellow. (who picked yellow anyways?)
Thinking about adding a green stretched out P2 graphic and a leaning post.
Gave up on on the ETEC.

For my 74 19-6:

1. Installed 6" setback along with a 6" bob's jack plate
2. Installed (new to me) 96 johnson 150 ocean runner
3. Installed Baystar steering
4. Installed gaskets inside the front seat of the center console to prevent water from attacking the inside
5. Ran all hoses and cables through the transom to keep the above transom gunwale clean
6. Secured my stereo amp inside my console.  Yes it sounds really good.
7. Purchased portable gunwale mount ladder for the ladies

I am just going to try to use mine
Got to take the 170 out today with my wife and the pup.  Second time in the 170 for my pup, she did real good today - nice and relaxed - until a dolphin came up right next to the boat    She had no clue what that thing was and the freeboard being what it is on the boat it was like within a foot of her and about 9 ft long
Disappeared as fast as she saw it so then she was patrolling the boat looking for it - quite a hoot.  Weather was just perfect - mid 70s.
Was a quick 2hr outing and back before the crowd started getting bad. Mini vacation  8)
Next weekend going to try to take Friday off and camp Friday and Saturday.  Scott - you game?

Well, I decided to strike one project from the list.  Ordered a new trailer yesterday from All American Boat Trailers in Pompano Beach.  Tired of effing with mine!   Planning to sell it on Craigslist like I did my first trailer, to partially fund the new one.  (and if anyone is keeping track, yes this is my 3rd trailer since I bought the boat in Sept 2009!)

4-drawer tackle center- DONE
New switch panel - DONE
Replace gas struts that hold up my flip-up seat: DONE, but a strut is seized up with rust already!  :x
Install freshwater tank & pump
New rub rail- I SO almost stopped at Marine Connection on Thursday...
Trailer axle work.  Strike this!
Replace fuel vent/overflow Thru-hull
