1987.  I so wish I had a full transom like yours.  Did you close that in yourself?

That is really nice.  I was contemplating having mine closed in, but I really can't justify the cost and don't have the necessary skills to do it myself.  Other than the transom, the helm and livewell/bait station areas are exactly the same.

Both of your rides look great!

A little teak tip....have read that most teak oil is partially derived from vegetable oil...therefore, the black that you see down the road is actually due to mildew from the deteriorating veg. matter.

Just hit it with a mild chlorine solution every six weeks...makes it much easier to re-apply the oil as needed too.

Ok DOC, you win!   :D. Can't wait to see your work at the Gathering next month.

I need to do something with my lights too... Do you find that your new LED floodlight draws less power than the old one?  When I was out running at dusk the other week, the breaker on my halogen floodlight kept popping... Would turn on for 30 seconds and then pop.  :x

And my running light seem to work only when they want. Especially the green. Maybe i should replace with LED.  Did you replace the wiring too or just new LED lights?

And the million dollar question, if you don't mind, how much did the LED's set you back?  The ones I'm seeing online are PRICEY.

The Taco spreader light was reasonably priced.  About $60.00.  There are much brighter but more expensive units available.
The wiring in the t-top is all new in 2007 so i just replaced the fixture.  The new one uses ALOT less current than the old Halogen. the Voltmeter doesnt even indicate a voltage drop when i turn it on.

Dont even get me started on the running lights.  It's a crap shoot everytime i turn them on.  I am going to replace them with LED's... soon.

A lot of the changes i made this winter are not really visable.  So it wont look too much different.

DOC, That ain't bad at all, in fact, you inspired me to venture down to West Marine today on my day off, and I found that Taco LED spreader light for $65.  In typical Worst Marine fashion, I get to the register and it rings up $79!     But they honored the price.  I also picked up an Attwood LED 12" flip up white all-around light at BassPro, for $45. Will mount both of these to my T-top tomorrow!

I was hunting for LED red/green Nav lights, but struck out. Ended up ordering them from Jamestown Distributors, for $28 each.  All in all, not as bad as some of the initial LED prices I had seen.

OK, edited to add my updates:
1. Buy new trailer- DONE
2. 4-drawer tackle center- DONE
3. New switch panel - DONE
4. Replace gas struts that hold up my flip-up seat: DONE
5. Replace gauge panel and glove box door- DONE
6. Make new grapple anchor- DONE
7. New stereo and speakers- it plays MP3's too! - DONE
8. Install freshwater tank & pump- Now 100% DONE
9. New rub rail- DONE (good deal too-- $3.50/lf for both rail & insert)
10. Replace fuel vent/overflow Thru-hull
11. New stainless steering wheel... Lots on eBay. Are these universal sizes?
12. Follow DOC's lead and replace spreader with LED- DONE
13. LED upgrade for Nav lights: 1/3 DONE
14. Install 2 coaming boxes below casting platform

I got my LED nav lights from Jamestown also.  Very happy with the lights.
