This is what you need to be looking for. The smell is the strongest when the tank is close to capacity, least when at a minimum level.



Water level in coffin is easily noted on sides of tank.

Hopefully this can be seen. Notice "crack" at bottom middle.


Tank corrosion has always been an issue on most of the older Aquas. Tank pictured is from a 1991. Most of the time it hides from view on the bottom. Tank shift can occur anytime but is often "seen" (with one's nose) with full tanks and rough seas. The shifting breaks away the corrosion, often exposing the leak(s) for the first time.

Crack easily seen. Probably one developing/existing on the opposite side as well.

she is an '88. with the christmas thing coming i will be spending my weekends doing everything but orking on the boat but plan on jumping in head first after the first of th year.BTW dont know how mch those tanks weigh but do you guys think me and my brother canget the deck moved and tank out by ourselves?
