I've been looking at 1982 - 1990 290 XF's and Tournament Masters and have been noticing a few recurring problems. First, the lip that supports the cockpit deck is substantially cracked along the inside of the transom on most of the boats. Second, almost all of the boats with Tuna Doors are cracked inside the door opening itself. I've also found delamination in some of the foredecks. Granted, these boats are getting older, so some of this is going to occur. For you guys who own one, what common problems are you running into with them? I'm very interested in getting one - It's a lot of boat for the money - and for all of those who question it's ride in a head sea...just drop the tabs a little and pull back just a touch on the power...it responds very nicely. Just curious if there are known problems that I should be watching out for.
