Always run cable (vinyl wrapped double wire) as a bilge pump/float switch connection. Always keep the connections as high as possible and forward tight to the underside of the deck, but still accessible in an emergency. Use shrink or melted butt-splice, or both.Either scenario, KEEP THE BILGE CLEAN.I'm heavy on safety, hope that's OK.
