Hey, wonder if I could connect an isolated battery's terminals to each end of the rod that is going through the tilt tube - ought to heat that baby up real quick  :twisted:

That's a good idea. When attended college 47 years ago    we would cook hotdogs in the dorm room with 110V AC, two 12 penny nails, and a lamp cord.

Actually any nails would work....allow 10 seconds more per "penny decrease".  CB, feel free to move this to "Cafe Aquasport".
