Well boys... the problem is solved.

Please take it easy on me after reading this...

My GPS was set to Knots/Hour... not Miles/Hour.

I must say... I am very embarrassed to discover that my big problem was no problem at all.  But, I am also very relieved.

Once I changed the GPS settings, I am consistently getting 35-37 mph WOT.

Thanks for all the help and advice.  Glad to know that I don't have soaked stringers and my motor seems to be pushing the boat just fine.

Sometimes I consider myself a rocket surgeon and my sweetheart on a daily basis reminds me that I have a long way to go to obtain my degree. When I first bought my 22-2 I thought she was a pig with twin 115`s until I discovered the statute vs. knots field on the Garmin setup menu. Now she`s queen of the pigs!!!
