Para-lift Mounting Height/Location on Transom - 1975 22-2
« on: August 11, 2010, 05:07:50 PM »
My Dad picked up his rebuilt 22-2 from Hammerhead last week and brought the boat down to Bob Hewes Boats in Miami to have the motor mounted.  Hewes is installing the motor since he is purchasing it new from them. He got a call today from Hewes telling him they are having issues mounting the para-lift to the full transom and they are concerned about clearance.

It sounds like Tommy at Hammerhead is going to speak with the guys at Hewes in the morning and help straighten them out, but I thought I would throw it out there in case anyone has a para-lift on a mid 70's 22-2 and has some advice.

A little boat porn...

Not sure the height, but every 23' Dorado has a Porta-Bracket, should be the same height as the Para-lift. (or close enough)
