Boot Stripe help
« on: July 08, 2010, 10:11:18 AM »
The last cosmetic thing for my restoration is a boot stripe.  I would like to view some pictures of Ospreys to see the original placement and stripe configuration, as in a single or multiple stripe, and where exactly it runs on the hull, I just repainted my hull, and I have color shade difference that needs to be broken up.  As usual, thanks for the help.

Pete,
Thanks, that's what I was looking for, is that 2 or 3 lines, I see the gold wide band, then a space, then a darker more narrow band, but is there one narrow one under the gold??  Thanks

Pete-

I have the same boat  ('97 225 Osprey), but my logo only said "225" on the side, whereas yours says "225 Osprey", and also has some different graphics.  Did yours come that way or did you do custom work?

Pete's is the "Tournament Master" edition - gives some extra stuff.  Maybe that's the difference?

Let's see...on a 225 Osprey?

-Trim tabs
-Double-wide leaning post, folds down to be a seat
-Hard Top T-Top
-HD Aluminum Bow Rail
-Single batt switch, dual w/twins
-Canvas windscreen for T-Top
-Cockpit bolsters
-Fwd rod holders on gunnels
-Porta-potti
-Fresh Water system
-Custom Graphics
-Gold rub-rail insert
-Armstrong Dive ladder

Think that does it...
