Is the 200 Osprey modeled after the 19-6?  What are the main differences?

Back in the day when they first commisioned a 200 Osprey there was probably nothing different between the two, not even length.  Just a way to make a bigger boat without having to create a new mold.
Now, if you're talking about the difference between a 70's 196 and a '02 200 - that's a different story.  The CCP model had the tall gunnels, the Ospreys didn't - now the newer Ospreys have the tall gunnels.  The CCPs had the deeper V hulls, the Ospreys had the 12 degree - now the newer Ospreys have the deeper Vs.  So it seems they took the best of the CCP and merged it into the Osprey product line.

The 170, 196, and 222 all became Ospreys around 1980.  AS just changed the name.  CCPs were a different line until Genmar took over in the 90s.  Genmar hybridized the Ospreys and CCPs into deep-V and other Osprey models that often matched Wellcraft models with different decals.
