Interesting dusk sky pic...
« on: May 21, 2010, 05:11:25 PM »
Tuesday evening, looking southeast, basically in the direction of Miami, but also Avon Park bombing range in that direction...

Looked at the 2 contrails for quite some time before I took the pic.  Absolutely parallel to each other, if I was looking due east to the Cape, I would just say the military was putting a satellite up and not thought anything of it...

Anybody else see this?  Or am I just over-imaginative?

No telling what they might have popped off over there.  I did not see the planes yesterday but there was quite a bit of military aircraft activity down here south of the Skyway late afternoon and after dark.  They were rattling my windows.

I used to see some weird stuff over the Eglin AFB reservation when I was a teenager.

John,
I don't know, may have been nothing.  But the general direction (about 170 degrees from north, out of Weeki Wachee) puts them over the bombing range, always stayed parallel to each other, nothing on either end to show it was 2 planes that got "somewhat" close and happened to be coincidental...

Just a little "weird", if you know what I mean...
