Problem with gauges
« on: May 10, 2010, 07:50:22 PM »
Hi all-
I put my '86 Osprey in the river for the first time, today; all went well- she's running great. At some point during the day, 2 instrument gauges stopped working, the fuel and battery gauges. The other gauges on the panel are still working, the tach is fine. The switch panel is fine, the instruments all light up. The indicator needles on those two gauges are at zero. I checked the fuses on the panel and they look OK.
Any suggestions on where to look to fix.
Thanks,
Jonesie

Sounds like corrosion on the contacts.
