1984 170.
« on: April 18, 2010, 03:40:28 AM »
Just picked up a 1984 170 with a 115hp Johnson, everything seems to work great and no major problems, had it out for about 4 hrs. Need to clean it up and some small things, like grease the bearings on the trailer axles. Just wondering is there anything I should watch out for, common problems?

Welcome aboard sport14  :!:  :!:
The 170 owners outnumber all the others put together on this site it seems. :D
So you've seen just how nice these little boats are and how easy they are to handle.  Great boats for inshore/ near shore fun.
Like any other boat, check the transom for weakness and the sole for soft spots. Other than that, have fun. :salut:
