250 Explorer Hull Construction
« on: September 16, 2005, 07:12:18 PM »
Hello All, New member here. Just found the site by referral from another.

I have a 2003 250 Explorer that probably would not qualify as a classic as yet. :D I have been working on installing a shoot through transducer and not having much luck. I have attempted the bag of water, PVC oil bath but have not been able to find a location where I can get a return thru the hull. For anyone familiar with the layout I have been trying the area in the stern underneath the location of the baitwell.

This leads me to suspect the hull itself since everything on the 'ducer states the hull must be SOLID glass, no coring. Does anyone have any experience with the construction of this hull to advise whether it is cored or not.

I would like to say thank you in advance for any input as I have been going crazy with this for 2 weeks now :(
