My new new dash panel
« on: March 30, 2010, 09:44:35 PM »
Me and my neighbor made this today, still need labels but came out pretty good.

We were talking about making more of them for others if theirs enough interest, just gotta iron out some details like labels yet.

What material did you use for the panel ? I just made mine from 1/4 black starboard and not too happy with it . Flexes too much . I ordered tiny labels from a marine supply place in Madeira Beach .

Couldn't think of suppliers name . Had to look it up . Fore and Aft Marine . Good people , fair prices . Brain farts are turning into diarrhea sometimes .

I went round and round on this one. Finally ended up buying Contura rocker switches with the label already on the switch.

Chris, Scott,
You guys have done EXCELLENTLY with your new panels!  Different looks, both great, and both far better than the original!

You guys know I love AS's, but you have one-upped the designers from back when...and you should be applauded!

Great job, guys!

Bob
