I recently asked a question and received a great amount of help - and confidence.  Being back on this site, I thought I would share some updated pictures of boat enhancements I have done.

http://s688.photobucket.com/albums/vv243/wsnapp/Aquasport/

Primarily, I have removed all decals, striping, and stickers off the hull.  Then got after the hull with everything I had to bring back the hunter green shine!

I have added the following:
- Garmin 541S  which works great for my meager applications
- Hydraulic Bob's Jack Plate
- Lenco Trim Tabs
- 8' Power-Pole Pro Series with a Wave Pak
- 80# Minn Kota ST Riptide - I have it mounted on a custom transom platform (it allows me to stand on the bow fishing while the motor is pushing an extra 20 feet behind me)

Future upgrades:
- Fusion ms-ra2000 Stereo with a separate Ipod dock and 2 MB Quart 6.5" speakers
- Hydraulic steering
- New Live well for under the front seat.  It has in proper drainage, it leaks and I want a large one  :) .  I do understand it is in the wrong place, but I don't mind it there as it is close to where I fish from!  Plus it adds a little weight to the front to help get on plane and float in the skinny.
- In hull transducer for the Garmin to get a piece off the transom

I have the same boat but 2002, I see you have the same anchor locker hatch I have. I think you will find it too small to fit your anchor through. I have been meaning to change it but havent found time yet. I have been busy working on a few other problems I ran into. Gas gage, washdown pump, fishbox pump out pump. All minor. I really love my boat and wish you all the best with yours.

YES - the anchor locker hatch is small, but I stay inshore mostly and the only time I ever need an anchor is at the Skyway bridge - what I have works.  Whenever at the sandbar or some island, I just use my powerpole.

Fishbox pumpout - how did you replace that?  Mine burned out and I haven't bothered to replace it.

I kinda wish I had a white hull - it will now be virtually impossible to match the color when making repairs.

You have a very good looking vessel. :)

That is unfortunately, and it's not just AS, the case with colored hulls with some age on them...

To replace the fishbox pump out you just remove the access hatch in front of the screen, reach down and hold the pump in place then unscrew the screen, (from the top). The pump will drop down and just pull it up through the access hatch. On mine I just bought the pump half and reused the housing. Just push in the tabs and turn and the pump comes right out. The part number is obsolete, but there is a direct replacement. I am at work now, but I will post it when I get home.

I have a question. Does anyone think Clorox non-abrasive bathroom clean used on the non skid will hurt the fiberglass or the gel coat? I used it last week and it worked amazing. I hosed off real good and sprayed spray wax on the deck after .

IMHO....
Not hardly.

Folks use a lot stronger (and abrasive) cleaners on the deck without any world ending consequences.

I'm a little fuzzy on the wax thing but.......

Good luck. :thumleft:

After I get the non skid clean I spray a light coat of automotive spray wax detailer on the deck. For about the next 4 or 5 trips I can just hose off the deck and the dirt washes right off, no scrubbing. Even fish blood doesnt stick.
