2000 Aquasport 200 Tournament
« on: March 03, 2010, 04:15:08 PM »
Hello Everyone!  I just recently purchased the above mentioned beauty.  She is in great shape, but the tournament decals are peeling off and the gauge panel is cracked where each screw goes in.  Anyone know where to get replacements?

THANKS!

Wes

Wes,
WELCOME ABOARD!  You have found the best boating site around, regardless of whether you own an AS or not...but you do!

You might want to try these guys for your graphics, http://www.vinylapproach.com/replacementboatlogos.htm, they look to be promising...I hope.

As far as your gauge panel goes, well, I'm sure others here will chime in, give them a chance to get home...

AND POST PICS!!!  What color hull do you have?  White, Forest Green, Navy, or Fighting Lady Yellow?

And, last but not least, a little about me...http://www.classicaquasport.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3661

Wes,
I just purchased one for my 2000 250 Explorer last week.  I'm not sure if the panels are the same for both boats, but someone on this site will surely know.  I bought it from Marine Connection Liquidators in Fort Pierce, Florida.  You can contact them @  themarineconnection@comcast.net.  Ask for Jake.

Best Wishes,

P.J.

Many thanks for the help Bob C & P.J.

Yes Capt. Bob, I do need to get pictures and post them - having a bit of trouble with my camera & computer.

In the mean time, here are some further details about the boat:

- Forest Green Hull (oxidized pretty bad, but once decal & striping off - it's waxing time)
- Tournament Fishing Edition
- Original 150 Johnson with only 450 hours (only ethanol free gas) - purrs like a kitten
- 1 owner prior to me who is a retired Air Force pilot (he actually had a boat log of every trip he ever made)
- Deck, CC, and Gunwales are brilliantly clean
- Original trailer, with virtually no rust - trailer stored in garage
- Has brand new Black Bimini, Green CC Cover, Green Lean post and seat cover, Green Engine Cover, and Full boat storage cover

Additions I am going to be making:
- Bob's Hydraulic Jack Plate
- Custom transom horizontal platform to mount wireless bowmount Minn Kota trolling motor (I'll explain that later)
- Wang Stick & bracket
- Bow cushions & splash guard LEADS ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT!

This is my first boat so I am crazy excited about this purchase.  When I get some pictures on the computer - I will be sure to post immediately.

I am back with pictures...only I cant seem to upload them into the reply so here is a hyperlink:

http://picasaweb.google.com/10043164775 ... directlink

Since I am in Tampa Bay, I can't seem to part with the water long enough to do any work.

Any further thoughts on where to find an identical replacement gauge panel?
