Canvas Enclosure costs
« on: February 01, 2010, 12:03:30 PM »
I have a 1987 250 Aquasport XF with a hard top and was curious to know if anybody put a full canvas enclosure on a boat like this and how much they paid?

And you have to define "full".

Just got mine done, three sides (no back) 40 mil Isenglass $800. I got previous quotes of $2,000 & $1,700. You need to shop around. That is my boat on Capt.bob's link above (with white trim not blue).

Thanks, I was getting prices of $2,000 - $2,400 for the front, sides, and back. I find that to be very expensive for cancas and glass. I like the way your's came out. Im going to shop around now.

The blue canvas'd boat is mine and the price included FULL enclosure - all the way back to the engine in glass, a couple panels of screen and a full boat cover for $3200.  I have since added the rest of the screen panels - makes for a nice camper.
You have to shop around and being the cheapest may not be the best choice.  Ask for references - my canvas guy immediately dialed a customer and handed the phone to me - way it should be.

Did my 275 explorer for 1750.00 Stratoglas front with roll up center panel 40 gauge eisenglas side panels with smilies and three panel rear all full roll up. Your boat is a little smaller so should cost less.I did not put the new canvas on yet so no pictures. The pictures in my album are with the original factory cover cant wait to rip it off.
