« on: January 07, 2010, 09:18:40 AM »
all right give me a quick vote, it'll only take a second

yay or nay on the name "Bare Bottom" for the 68' Flatback 222 ??? (could also be spelled Bear Bottom)

(currently the girlfriend and my mother don't like the name "flat on her back", some reason guys like it though)

one other possilbe name is "Chasin Biggins", just to try and keep the Chase theme going.

i need more than 3 votes, so leave a quick reply
  :afro: thanks

I like Bare Bottom but another play on words would be ...

How about "Flat Bum"

Hey Chase  . Now that you have a fleet of aquasports you could have " Flats Fleet 1" and " Flats Fleet 2".  I really like Bare Bottom tho. Now help me on a name for my "new " 175 AS . I wanted " Lil Booger " but got vetoed by the Missus . By the way  , I'm looking for a decent trailer for my 175 .

Bare Bottom doesn't make much sense to me.  I like the idea to keep chase in there though - how about Chasin Flat Bottoms or Flat Bottom Chasin'

WOW !
i am lovin the replies, and you guys have actually put some thought into this.

BARE BOTTOM seems to be winning the race, but please don't stop being creative. i think everyone has a the general idea that i'm searchin for, slightly clever or borderline misbehaving and not boring.  i have a bud that went a little too far with his pathfinder named in large letters "Wet Snatch", so i wouldn't want to leave from church on a sun afternoon with that bannered on the side on my boat.

Mr. Woody i don't currently have a trailer available but i'll keep my ears open, and as for a boat name, if you had "Mr. Woody" on the side of your boat it would fall right in line with a personal touch and a slightly clever/mischievous meaning as well.  If you call your 17ft boat "Lil" it makes it feel inferior to other boats, even though we all know that an Aquasport is the superior.  i'll keep brainstorming for a name but whatever i come up with will probably not get elected by your wife.

good point on JUST being out with the guys with the name bare bottom, guess i'll need to have a clipart of a sexy hand holding bare bikini bottoms beside the name, because by no means will i own a boat that could ever be compared to a gay vessel ! i'm very grateful for the headsup.

thankx for all the help please keep um coming !

The reason I said nix to Bare Bottom is while I know what you were trying capture, I started thinking about the bottom of the boat and what if it wasn't bare and had a coat of bottom paint on it.....

I've been thinking  "Reel Hard " about a name for your boat ,Chase . Came up with "Best Booty "  ,"Chasin' Tail " . As for my boat name , I think I'll pass on "Lil Woody ",  Rick , and maybe go with Woody's Seventeen " although that might be stretching things a bit .

If you like "Bare Bottom" I'm all about it. Just means you fished on bare bottom....or something to that effect... :D ...

One of my friends once had a Lowe skiff he named  "Flounder Queen". One of his buddies stopped by his place one night. Without his knowledge, and with a knife, his buddy cut off the "N" on "Queen",  changing  the N to an R. My friend thereafter became the "Flounder :*:". The boat was on a lift, he never knew better.

Rode around the whole summer, people were pointing and laughing....he gave 'em a thumbs up, he was da man.... :pale:
