I bought an aftermarket fuel sending unit it a one wire hook-up one for the sender I think and one ground well I bought a fuel gauge aswell but when I hook them together I get nothing? Any advice would be greatly appreicated

Can you describe your fuel gauge? ie: how many wires, what color wires, etc. I was pulling my hair out trying to get my old one to work until I finally figured out my gauge was faulty...

I'll have to take a picture to help with the explanation but I believe it is 4 total wires 1 sending 1 iginition and a hot a nuetral wire for the light

Thanks Capt. Bob I think I've aked this before and got the same answer but never got around to trying it out
