I tow my 175 with a Saturn Vue 3.5L
Towing capacity is 3500 and no issues but I use nice paved ramps only since I am FWD.  It was a bit dicey on the stop sometimes until I replaced the trailer surge brakes.  I've got disc brakes on the trailer now and it is great.
I'm actually thinking to use the minivan once in awhile next summer when on the family trips to the lake.  Towing capacity of the Chrysler is 3800 lbs but it makes me more nervous to use the minivan than the small SUV.  Anyone here use a minivan for a 175?

Just watch the ramp angle, long wheel base mini van, weight on the rear, I have seen many of them squalling the front tires trying to get the boat up the ramp.  Personally, I think FWD vehicles are not the best choice for pulling a boat up a ramp.

I know the boat doesn't look like much in the pic.  It was taken the day that I brought her home.  She is under construction and looking better every day.

I will be pulling her with my '05 Nissan Titan.  5.6 liter, 6,500# towing capacity.

I'm eyeing a Toyota Tundra, regular cab longbed with a 3.4 V6.  Towing capacity is 5200lbs. Anyone have any input on this truck?

Towing the 22-2 Aquasport with my 1997 GMC suburban.  6" lift.  Towing mirrors.  4.88 gears for a little extra low end pulling.  Ranchhand replacement bumpers front & back.
