Having a strap on the back is the law I think - I don't do it on my 230 either.
I've been told that is a normal "pull-over" in the keys.
I'm selling my 2002 Dakota SLT, 4x4, towing gear/tow package, 4.7 V8, etc. etc. It's just not enough to pull my 245 Explorer. My neighbor is selling me his lightly used (88,000 miles) 1998 F250 Lariat with air shocks. Should pull like a dream now. On a related note, do you guys think I should tie down the back of the boat to the trailer? The thing's so darn heavy, I doubt it moves much but you never know...Chris
Where's the funnel to pour gallons of gas directly into the cylinders? And the re-fueling vessel?
Read once that the Octopussy costs $975,000 to fill her up...but she has a good cruising range...

I had problems pulling my Explorer 225 out up a crappy muddy ramp in Fernandina with my Silverado 1500. I had to get a buddy to hook his F150 up to the front of my truck to pull it out. It was embarrassing. Even though the troubles were mostly due to the muddy ramp, It was still enough to put me in a market for a 2500. Until then a Wiggins Bull Forklift hulls the boat out of the water.
