Two best - so far - for two completely different reasons.....

Tampa to Key Largo and back again. Just over 600 miles and a few stops like the Last Chance Bar, The Caribbean Club, Mandalay Bay Tiki Bar.
and.....

Bought mine from a buddy that lives about 2 miles away. Even kept the slip so the boat never moved!

I think taking my Aquasport on a sea trial in the middle of the winter in Delaware should account for something.    Temps were in the low 30's and factor in the wind chill left it low to mid 20's.  That also doesn't take into account running about 35mph.

Just thinking of the fun or hassle-free stories.  Yours has to rank right up there as far as the nasty, hard core sea trials go.  Were you wearing full Gortex? :D

Some years it seems like we get that kind of weather half the season (early and late) - but that's just what it is  .  When I read your 'road trip' story - in my minds eye I was right there with ya.

I think Dupree would get the award if he said he was wearing Speedo instead of Gore-Tex!

A nana-hammock in 30 degree weather ought to win - whether it's true or not.   :colors:

Hey, we have the Annual New Years Day Barefoot Water Ski Tournament near here - at Lake Norman Marina every January 1.  It's pretty entertaining some years - good way to get over a New Years Eve hangover...   :santa:

See ya on the water!

Well after a month of intensive searching, found a likely candidate in Largo at Sunray Marine, Flew into Sarasota/Bradenton last Friday AM, limo'd up to Clearwater, bought a truck, went to Largo, picked up the boat and drove to Bonita Springs, drove back to Milwaukee on Monday, I guess about 1400 miles down to Largo, 1560 back to Milwaukee
She is a Great Boat!! rides like a dream, powers up nicely, no disappointments!!!!

Hint,
Your photos are not sized properly for this Forum.

They need to be like this.

I have traveled all over the state to pick up new toys.  This time I don't know how many trips it took to find my aquasport.  But when when I did find it, it was about 50 miles away.  Lakeland to north west Tampa.  Easy money.  Hitch it and tow.  Never look back too far.  You might see parts falling off!!!

And not to be a one upper.  But I towed a 32' John Allmand about 6 miles one day with a Toyota T-100.  The boat weight about 12k :!: , had a nice tri-axle trailer    with no brakes   and 200 lbs of tongue weight!  In order to get it moving I had to start my truck in low range, like a granny gear.  And because of the lack of tongue weight and tri-axle I had to goose it around tight parking spots or it would push my truck.  Fun Fun  I must of been  :drunken: or maybe I need a beer thinking about it.

Hi I made round about 100 miles to see the boats.

In order to take it home I went to Barcelone by train and returned by sea with the boat.
It was a really nice trip, I enjoyed it.

Regards
