Road trip to find your Aquasport - how far did you go ?

Saw this post at Classic Mako and was wondering the same thing
How far did you go for your Aqua ?

Montreal- New-York  900 miles. Am I crazy ? :)

Lawrenceville to Columbus Ga 225 miles roundtrip. 12 hours total time to get it roadworthy and drive back at 45 mph (yes the old trailer was that scary)!!!!
Hey Rickk, did your boats come out of NY like Marc's?

North Miami Beach to Marathon 220+ miles
WHILE THE DOLPHINS WERE PLAYING THERE FIRST AND ONLY PLAYOFF GAME LAST YEAR

Dunedin, FL to Jacksonville, FL.  475 miles round trip by myself.  I went with cash in hand but wasn't sure if I would even buy it.  The trip home was awesome (except for having to change a flat tire).  I found myself smiling every time I looked in the rearview mirror and saw nothing but big beautiful bow of my 250 CCP.

1 trip from long island to Pennsylvania  300 miles round trip, several trips western LI to the the hamptons   To the north shore   Out east north fork.  Etc. Etc.  Many. Miles!!  Finally found my boat...............2 blocks from my house  wasn't even for sale knocked on the door and asked. Brought home couple days later.

Marcq.   your not crazy.  I would drive 900 miles too. It's worth it!!

Guess I wasn't very clear (except to myself  :roll: )  Both of my boats came from the same city I live in or real close by anyway.

Sorry for laughing at your expense waterman but that sounds like a real kick in the teeth but you are right they are definitely worth the drive.

Heck, after that I drove 2514 miles for a Bayliner near Daytona Beach, spend a week there, a mini vacation.  :)

Hey Marc,  I went from Smithtown Long Island to Freeport Long Island...lucky for me.  ABout 45 miles each way.  If you want me to check something out for you on LU, give me a shout.  If I can help out, i will.  Steve.
