Thanks fellas, for all the kind words. Can't wait to have her back from being wired up. Then its off to the Yami Dealer to get it dialed back in, replace fuel lines( tons of problems with gunked up fuel lines in motors from the ethanol), and dialed in. I am thinking 4 weeks  to be in the water.

No not seabob capt matt. Did a labor trade with a master electrician/cummins diesel mechanic. He rewires and services diesels for 40+ foot boats. Figured if he can wire yachts full of electronics, he is probably fit for the job on this 20'. I'll for sure update pics, if you like the results, I can set you up with him. Great guy and so detail oriented its not even funny. When he works on my dad's diesels he is clean, on time and gets the absolute most work for your money. He's mobile too, so thats sort of nice, can be doing stuff while he is wiring the boat. Anyhow, I'll post pics on here and you guys can decide.

She is officially gone to be wired up. Finally saw it all put together in the sun and man is she beautiful! Such a relief, don't know what I will do with all my free time on the weekends. Will keep everyone posted with pics when she gets back. I didn't get an exact completion date, but knowing Don I am sure with wont be much longer than 2 weeks.

Thanks fellas, I appreciate it!!

Capt Bob, I havent looked back that far in the pictures in a long time. That picture made me sick to my stomach! Crazy transformation.

Question for you guys:

I have a 2001 yamaha vmax 225 ox66. The dual digital gauges are faulty due to moisture and the last guy installing them without a proper seal. I want to get a new LCD tach kit.

Part #:
Y-6YR-W0035-F1-00 w/ 6Y5-85335-10-00 adaptor kit for 2001-2004 motors. Am I barking up the right tree?

Hey Guys. Can anyone recommend a reasonable yamaha dealership or two to have my motor checked out and some minor things done to it? I need quite a few little things that I need to get done and want to get it quoted out from a few places. Any and all help would be great. I live in Ft myers 33919 zip code and honestly dont mind driving ( up to 50 miles) if someone knows a great place for a reasonable price??

By the way, stopped by the boat today to take a peek at what is going on, Don is doing a bang up job, the entire back is completely wired up, and all wires ran to the center console. Working on netwroking the garmin to read the fuel level, fuel consumption and networking everything to talk to each other. Said he should be completely finished this weekend for pick up. Total parts bill $1200 thus far, may reach $1500....Regardless, Not a bad deal to have your boat completely rigged!!! Every wire, hydrolic line, shift/ throttle cable, busses, 3 battery switches, waterproof toggle switches and lights all new. Can't wait to have this bad boy back, will go straight from him to the yammi dealer. maybe 3 more weeks!

Not to bring up a sore subject, but did you ever get you money back from the beginning of the project?
