Here's the latest installment.  The console from a 25' Rabalo is going back together.  All the holes are plugged and it's painted.  The teak has been refinished and is just sittling in place. It is exactally the same width as the original AS console, which was, sadly missing.  Come to think of it I think I like the Rabalo console better.  Haven't reinstalled the windshield yet.

I started reconstructing the area that I cut out fro the splas well removal.  Still needs some sanding and another layer of cloth and resin and then ultimately tied into the deck.

Here's an update. Used 5/8" plywood with cloth and resin on both sides.  A friend made a fiberglass hatch and that was recessed into the plywood before we glassed it.  It gives access to the Hatian hatch.  I built a bulk head back a little way behind the hatch so things wont slide back so far I can't reach them.  Now comes some grinding of the original deck so I can tie the patch into the existing good deck.  The new piece sets a little below the original deck surface. I'm guessing I'll grind down about a 1/4" and out about 4" to 6".

Lookin' good Keith. :thumright:

Let me know if you need any other CCP parts. We probably can work something out.
My console would have looked good in there.

Edit: I just noticed the coffin with the Carrabelle Sea Tow ruler. 8)

Bob,

Are you parting your CCP out?  Sure could use a couple of things on the 222 CCP that I am hopefully coming back with this weekend.

Hey Bob,

How are you doin'?  Yep that's your old coffin.  It's going to fit perfectly with the console moved foward.  What other parts do you have that you are willing to part with?

KEITH - hows the project going? do you happen to have any pics of the splashwell section of your boat - when it was out and how you did that section of the floor?

I'm in Terra Ceia just south of you - do you have any parts you are not using from your project?

Thanks for the help  :thumleft:

Put in a bulkhead to keep things from sliding to the back of the Hatian hatch. PVC is for wire  to bow light.

Plywwod was glassed in on both sides before

Using 5200 and counter sunk screws to attach to 2x4 cross members.

Front half sanded

Yep, it will look nice one day.  Still a long way off though.  I'm working two jobs and I don't have much time to work on the boat. It is making progress.  Have the second layer of cloth and resin on the front deck and am ready to do more sanding.

NCROWE,
Sorry I missed your post.

I have not done the splashwell section yet.  That will be next.  Sorry to say that I don't have any parts.
