Here are a few moro pics I took just of some transome fairing and the gunnals sprayed and ready for finish work, the last one are the front hatches, they were pretty weak from factory and needed beefing

Is that Jason's old boat? Looks real nice.
IMO I would run the 225 Opti, The 175 is great but people tend to run'em hard most of the time. Again thats just my opinion, if you can spare the weight get more motor and use less of it.
Self bailing is a great concept but I have yet to fish on a boat that actually bailed properly when loaded down(dorado, sheaffer, pathfinder etc.) At some point water will almost always intrude. On my old FB I had 2in. scuppers but kept them plugged while fishing and open for cleaning that worked great. Just pop'em out after gettin bait splash it down bump up on plane and run it out. At the dock it bailed fine but in real world fishing conditions it never did. And that was with the deck raised 4in. porta bracket with 200 Hpdi and a 55 gal leanpost well.
Anyway it looks really good keep up the nice work.

Here are more pics, I am using the tower and motor which are from my old boat. 2006 200 opti Full tower dual stations electric shift. I am selling the blue hull for $2000 OBO sweet boat it is being stripped of everything(console, motor, porta, tower, trailer) The boat has a leak in the gas tank otherwise I would keep it, I also have some water pictures of it as well rides great, foam deck and the cap is custom made, you wont see another boat like it.

This boat has been recently painted inside and out, just some dummy drilled into the gas tank
so you probaly might be able to just get it fixed, it was new in 2006 so its not like its old or anything.

Its actaully a 1981 offshore was the brand of the hull, but I took the old cap off, and made a new one. It was rebuild in 2006, the stingers and transome were done with wood, deck, and cap are done with foam, boat is also foam filled so it would never sink.
Its a super dry boat and the ride is excellent to much better than the aquasports.

Been there, done that! Lots of work to get one slick. I painted a car for a lady about 20 years ago and she had the gall when she picked it up to tell me it was too shiny!
Boats gonna look great, but you think the other one rides better? In what way?

Are you doing all the sanding and buffing? Just curious as to the difficulty of getting that kind of shine..
and did you end up selling the livewell with the offshore hull? If not, I might be interested in buying it..
