Can you post pics of what the boat area looks like? My explorer doesn't have that hatch so I'm at a loss. Can you make it out of starboard?

I think that is the same model as one of the Wellcraft lineup so I'm not familiar with those - SeaBob can fill us in.

Yeah, we kinda guessed that by now
But on a lighter note, how is the room in the cabin area?
Sooner or later, I'm getting a wac just don't quite know when.
I'd love to stay with the old style Aqua but the "Wellcraft" style looks nice too.

That looks like 1/2 inch starboard you can make that yourself using that one as a template all you need is a router and a flush trim bit. That is probably custom for that boat and would be hard to find. You could find someone local if you do not want to tackle it yourself.

Its actually 1 inch thick, and yes i was thinking of making it out of starboard, but 2 things have me concerned. One being there is a curvature in the hatch because the bow of the boat where it goes has a curvature to it, Second where the hinges get mounted that area is built up about a 1/4 of an inch i don't know how i would build that up because where the hinges are on the boat end is built up as well. I thought it would be easy to copy but its a little more complicated then it looks.
And yes i have tons of room in the cabin, I have looked at many other boats the same size as mine, and none of them compare to the amount of room i have in the cabin head room and length, overall i am happy with the boat.

Thanks Miky.
Is that extra room because the walkways are reduced on your model hull?
