Just picked up my 97 Osprey 200. HIN AQABBE82H697. Power is a 150 Evinrude Ocean Pro. Getting to know my new gal and working on a name for her. This is my first Aquasport, and I am liking her a lot.

Lewis this is the way it shows on the title hin: 5  njz02682hull  it is a 1972  19-6.

Hello all,

I bought my 79 Aquasport 19 6 in June of 2010 in southern CT.  

The Hull number is
Hull # ASPE ....79H

Nice boat Electricalmarine...

Looks like you still have the original floor in yours. The tell tale is the original rigging chase and cover. If you replaced the floor, how did you do it and still maintain the rigging chase? You would be the first to do it...

Seems that the floor was not replaced.  I'd be interested to know how and where and why it was reinforced - through the added deck hatches I'm guessing?

Just watched your video.  I LOVE the hatch in the floor forward of the console.  I plan on promptly stealing that idea  :thumright:

No, I didn't replace the floor.  I hope I haven't offended anyone by not taking my floor out.  It's solid so I didn't see any need to do so.
And yes, I glassed in some support around my hatches and also added support when I had the tank out.  And Marshmallowe, how bout the length of that trolling motor shaft.  I think it's you that I asked on youtube for the lengh...if not, disregard.

That is a great looking boat minus the T-top that is my goal for mine do you have any pics on glassing in the transom did you use wood or a filler?

Sorry, I wasn't good with the pics during.  I only have a few.  I did use wood inside of the transom.  And as for the T-Top...one less thing to get snagged on...here's my solution to a T-Top...

I just sold my old Leaning post that came on my boat to a guy who recently bought a 1973 19-6.  When I showed him just how much space was wasted under that deck he said he was on his way to buy and install his new hatch.
 
I used an 11 x 15 hatch.
