Congrats on the new boat and welcome aboard. Remember if using a phone to take pics, to hold the phone horizontal with the lens to the left.

Just purchased it today. 84 19-6 ASPE3270M84A-0B.  Can anyone tell me what the -0B designates?

Welcome aboard Jim.  The 196 came in outboard and i/o configurations so I think that is what the last bit of the HIN indicates.

Picked up a 1972 19-6 in May.
No original HIN.

I'm Fabrizio from Rome, owner of 19.6 Aquasport with a 1990 Evinrude 120.
I have been a happy owner since 1994 but I don't know what year it was built. I attach some photos.
I also need advice on how to mount a windlass and a bow roller and how to re-power it but I don't know where to ask. Sincerely Fabrizio

 :welcome01: aboard Fabrizio.
On the outside of the transom you should be able to find a "Stamp" in the gelcoat that looks something like this - this is called the Hull ID number or HIN. Mine is on the starboard side.

This is from my Explorer - the last 2 digits on the top line is the year it was made = '92, and the 2nd line is the model = 230.  See if you have something like that on your boat.
