DT,
Some tips that I saw the Stamas carpenters use. 1) When you get the cabinets fit, jack them up to fit them in place with bottle jacks at each end to support and hold in place. 2) Locate where you will be screwing through the tops of the cabinets into the coring of your walkaround. Mark the location with a light pencil line. 3) Remove the cabinets and pre-drill clearance holes (3/16" for #10 screws) and countersink for Ovalheads. 4) Re-locate, secure in place, pre-drill the walkaround, secure, and your good to go. Just make sure you don't tweak the frames, or the doors and ESPECIALLY the drawers will bind like a SOB. But you already knew that, didn't you?
