The bottom will be painted back black antifouling because I leave the boat in the water about 2 months out of the year. I will bring the black all the way to the green at the bow. :)

Well her maiden voyage was kind of sucky. Got all the way out to my favorite fishing drop. Caught some nice fish and when it was time to go she wouldnt crank. Starter went out. Guess that what happens after they sit for 5 months. Anyway she is finished. Thank God.

I called a freind and he passed the message on to our local marine rescue squadron. A guy came and got me with his boat powered by a 250 Yamaha. He pulled me back about 30 mph with no problem. Kind of fast for a tow but evrything seemed to be ok. Thanks for the comments, it was a lot of work and waiting but it was worth it.

Well guys my motor wasn't worth fixing. After I replaced the starter and took it out again it would not run right. I took it to my mechanic and it turns out that I had plastic carbs and the were all cracked. One of the throttle bodies was also wore out from all the hours on the old girl. So I sold her broke down for $700 which I thought was a deal and went and got a new ETEC. New motor for a new looking boat. Here are a few pics.
