1976 22-2 Family Fisherman thru hull fitting question

I have recently bought a 1976 22-2 Family Fisherman in great shape. I have the original paperwork which the owner gave me for both the boat and motor. One thing is not covered in it though. There is a thru-hull fitting about a foot forward of the chrome gas tank vent, on the starboard side almost even with the steering wheel. I can't tell what it goes to.
The boat has a rear bilge pump with a thru-hull fitting on the port rear.
There are no access plates to see what this white plastic front thru-hull fitting is connected to, but I can see it has a white plastic flex hose attached to it, which appears to run towards the center of the boat. It all looks to be factory original.
Does anyone know what this goes to?

When I was building Aquasports, all the Explorer models (Cabin boats) had a bilge pump under the cabin sole. That t/hull could be the discharge hose. Look for a pie in the sole down there, perhaps in the aft part of the cabin.

What seabob says makes sense. Plastic flex hose is most commonly used for water discharge (really thats all it should be handling) for above the waterline drains. Bilge pump would make sense

Does your dash have a fuse for both front and rear bilge pumps? Aquasport offered the rear pump as standard, with the front pump (mounted amidships) as an option. You probably have the 2 pump option, and the hose and thru-hull are for the front pump.
There should be a deck plate somewhere with access to the pump. It will be in the sole somewhere close to the center of the boat.

My 230 has a bilge pump in the rear and one exactly where Bob said. My dash has 2 switches, like GF said, one for each pump.

I will check and see if I can ever figure out how to look in underneath through the cabin.
The bilge pump switch on the dash may have been added when the pump was replaced. It is a 3 position switch, flipped toward starboard is off, middle is on auto - triggered by the float switch, and toward the port side is spring-loaded where you have to hold it to make it stay on manually. It also has a lamp indicating when the bilge pump runs, then goes off when the pump cuts off.
Thanks for the info.
