Osprey 175 - Passenger Capacity
«

Can anyone tell me what the passenger capacity is on an Osprey 175? The tag is worn off on my boat. I've been given guesses of 5, 6 and 7 people so far, but no one with the same boat has been able to verify it for me.
Any help is appreciated!

I have put 6 people on my 1990 175 and it was packed but I was just cruising to make it to a sandbar to hang out at. I would say 4 is comfortable for just cruising but when I am fishing I don't like having anymore than 3 people.

The tag states 6 persons or 900 pounds. If some of the group is small ikids ok. otherwise if the game warden gets a scale out, lookout!

ccckirch, thanks for the info! I had 7 on it last week for a run to the sandbar in Islamorada, and it seemed like too many. I'm glad I finally know the correct number!! I don't feel like arguing with FWC, Coasties, or anyone else!
Cheers!
