title question

friend of mine has a 72 222 flatback that he is looking to buy but the boat has no title or even any numbers on it.  anyone have any advise on how to title an "abondoned" boat like this.  we have been assured that it is not stolen.  apparently this one was owned buy a business many years ago and since been lost in the mix so to speak.

BTDT.  You will need to have a FWC officer come out and examine your boat, look at all of your documentation, write a report, and make a recommendation. Not hard, but it can take a while to get a tilte. PM me with your phone number and I'll be glad to explain it in detail to you.
