i just bought a 1983 aquasport 19'5 with a evinrude 185 outboard , i know nothing about boats i got no info or instructions and i need help.

Lots of info in the photo gallery section, including owner's manual stuff.
If you really want to learn, get a copy of Chapman's Piloting, Seamanship, and Small Boat Handling. It's about as close to a boater's Bible as you can get.

i couldn't agree more about Chapman's Piloting, Seamanship, and Small Boat Handling. it doesn't read like a text book and you can jump around chapters. i got my '57th Edition' for christmas in 1986!
