Hey wingtime the badges look like this, except for a 196 or 22-2.

There is an older thread that has a lot of posts about how jim actually was making them with pics of the process but I couldn't find it yet. I'm kinda wondering if he is okay because seems like no one has talked to him in the past months. My PM to him still hasn't been answered and thats been 2 months.

I hope Jim is okay.  

But if no one else can do it, I can make some molds for these.  Probably, I'd make the badges themselves out of filled polyurethane resin, so they stay straight and have some flexibility.  Or, I could make them out of epoxy, which should be pretty tough, but I'm not sure which mix would  be best.

Of course, I'd need badges to make the molds from.  That would probably be the tricky part.  My boat only has one badge.  Now that I know this, I think I just might take the other one off for safe keeping, if Jim doesn't reappear soon.  Hope he's okay.   You never know what life's going to throw at you.

jimct actually responded to his 240 rebuild thread the other day but I don't know if he realizes how many of us need and would be willing to buy these things from him. We could probobly help him with his costs on his rebuild.
